Yes, I’ve got answers to your questions — and I’m ready to help you grow your business.
I often get asked, “What do you do?,” “How can you help me?” or “What do you consult on?.” Without sounding indecisive, my answer is, “It depends.” Let me explain…
I don’t believe in promoting modular, inflexible packages. Instead, I tailor my solutions, mechanisms, channels and techniques around you and your needs. I guess you can call me a “Business Development and Marketing Guy” if you need to give me a title.
Right from the beginning, I’ll sit down with you and ask, “How can I help you?” (If you’re local to Toronto, let’s have a coffee! — No obligations.) I’ll ask you these questions:
- Who are you?
- What is your business?
- Where are you challenges?
- What are you hoping to achieve?
- What have you already tried?
- Who are your customers?
In other words, I need to understand you, your business and what your goals are first. I never ask for money with this discussion and I usually get back to you on the spot with how I can help your business grow. I believe in explaining things simply. If I don’t think I can deliver you solid results, I’ll refer you to somebody who can and refuse to take money if I can’t deliver.
While I’m certainly a digital native and have experience in using innovative means to achieve results for my clients I’ve a solid experience in the “less sexy” traditional approaches as well. The one thing I do promise is that it is your business, not mine, so I believe in keeping you involved in the process at all times — not just so you know what is happening in your own business, but so we can integrate your expertise into the process too.
